Kyle J. Moore

Kyle is a trilingual attorney with a multifaceted background that uniquely positions him to provide sophisticated defense representation in complex civil litigation. Before joining FAVROS, Kyle managed his own solo practice, and served in various roles before that, including as a managing litigation attorney for a plaintiff-side personal injury firm, and an associate for an insurance defense firm. Before becoming an attorney, Kyle worked as a paralegal while attending law school and previously was an auto insurance claims adjuster. In addition, Kyle served in the U.S. Army as a cryptologic linguist qualified in Arabic and Spanish.

Practice

Kyle’s practice encompasses all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-suit investigation all the way to trial. He has specialized experience in insurance defense, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, slip/trip-and-fall injuries, coverage, consumer protection, contract disputes, and civil appeals.

Representative Cases

Drafted a Petition for Review to the Supreme Court of Texas and a subsequent brief on the merits that resulted in a per curiam opinion reversing an award of future lost profits on the alleged breach of an indefinite contract.
Drafted and filed a Petition for Writ of Mandamus in a commercial litigation matter challenging the denial of a motion to compel an independent medical examination.
Second chaired several jury trials involving auto accidents.
Conducted and defended dozens of depositions.
Successfully negotiated numerous high-value settlements through mediation and direct negotiations.
