On February 1, 2017, Tom Fain and Eddie Hynes obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a case where plaintiff claimed that alleged over-prescriptions of Ambien caused behavioral problems that resulted in him abusing his spouse. After going into the third week of trial, the jury returned a unanimous verdict that the defendant was not negligent in his prescribing practices.
